Hotel Café Ernst is the ideal starting point for walks. Within a few minutes you are directly in the expansive forest or in the middle of the vineyards.

The Bernkastel-Kues regional tourist authority has newly signposted many of the walking routes. The new steep Mosel path was very recently opened in 2014.
